Entry 1-3/14/07
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
In sixth grade we did a biography board (i did mine on Bessie Smith). In seventh grade we did a Louisiana Project, and each group had a different part of Louisiana to research. The Labyrinth Project was also a big reseach project in eigth grade.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Reseach to me means to look up information on either the internet, in books, or from other sources about a certain topic.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
The Louisiana Project to me in seventh grade was negative experince. It was a negative experience because my topic was to me the most boring part of Louisiana. I didn't get a lot of good results while researching The Crossroads region in Louisiana.
